Document Security Administrator administers and maintains a system of classified and unclassified company documents according to the record control policies and procedures for the secure management and access of company information assets. Classifies and files new documents following the established process. Being a Document Security Administrator fulfills document requests from authorized users and tracks the retrieval and disposition of documents. May prepare records for archiving, participate in audits, or assist in the destruction of records. Additionally, Document Security Administrator requires a high school diploma. May require security clearance. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Document Security Administrator works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. - Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related incidents and activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed for investigations or emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting visitors and employees with any security-related inquiries or concerns
```Experience```
- Previous experience in surveillance, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle challenging situations
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and procedures is beneficial
