Documentation Clerk is responsible for clerical duties related to the maintenance of technical documentation. Completes tracking, logging, updating and version control of technical documents according to business standards. Being a Documentation Clerk requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Documentation Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     Description

    Description of responsibilities:

    • Release print jobs, stuff envelopes, scan documents, stamp mail, and perform data entry and or other general clerical tasks as needed.
    • Maintain and organize physical documents.
    • Greet and assist the vendors (FedEx, UPS, USPS or deliveries) that come in. We do not assist clients at the office.

    Qualifications


    Required experience:

    • Have a minimum of two years experience as an Office Assistant or Secretary.
    • Prior experience answering and transferring telephone calls.

    Required skills:

    • High school diploma or G.E.D.
    • Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM (must pass a typing test)
    • Must have attention to detail
    • Demonstrate a desire to help people
    • Must have solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to sit for a long periods of time
    • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
    • Must be proficient in the use of today's technology including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Have an interest in long-term employment
