Documentation Clerk is responsible for clerical duties related to the maintenance of technical documentation. Completes tracking, logging, updating and version control of technical documents according to business standards. Being a Documentation Clerk requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Documentation Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.     QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Associates degree in medical field preferred
    • Certified (or eligible to be certified) as a medical transcriptionist preferred
    • One year prior experience working in the medical field.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology and applicable understanding of human anatomy and physiology required.
    • Grammar and Language skills required
    • Advanced computer skills needed
    • Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite Required
    • The ability to transcribe all types of medical dictation with speed and accuracy will also be required.
