Documentation Clerk is responsible for clerical duties related to the maintenance of technical documentation. Completes tracking, logging, updating and version control of technical documents according to business standards. Being a Documentation Clerk requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Documentation Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Loan Documentation Specialist

  • Summary Performs loan documentation tasks, which include Document Preparation and Document Review by performing the following duties.

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

    Document Preparation :

    Document all types of loans which includes commercial and consumer* Prepare necessary documents for various types of collateral which includes Real Estate* Applies appropriate state and federal guidelines to loan documentation function and stays abreast of regulatory changes and applies information as needed* Production of loan and collateral documents using TruStage* Delivery of documents for closings into nCino

    Document Review :

    Review of loan documents for accuracy* Review of loan collateral documentation for accuracy

    Each loan documentation task has detailed written procedures. Depending on the task(s) assigned, Loan Documentation Specialist will be required to perform the specific task(s) in a satisfactory manner.

    Education and / or Experience

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum five years banking experience (loan related experience preferred);

    nCino and IBS Core System experience helpful. Loan documentation, collateral and loan knowledge preferred.

    Computer Skills

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computer applications such as the Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and banking software.

    Ability to use basic office machines. Ability to learn bank-specific software such as IBS, Workday, nCino, etc.

    Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel;

    reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
