Plunge seeks a CAD/Documentation Specialist to join our dynamic Engineering team. The CAD/Document Specialist will create, update, and manage our technical documents (2D and 3D). This position will also support our ECO process by incorporating updates to mechanical and electrical drawings.

CAD/Documentation SpecialistPlunge seeks a CAD/Documentation Specialist to join our dynamic Engineering team. The CAD/Document Specialist will create, update, and manage our technical documents (2D and 3D). This position will also support our ECO process by incorporating updates to mechanical and electrical drawings.
Fusion 360/Onshape will be used for 3D component models, 2D drawings and assemblies. Onshape PDM will be used for to manage released documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Engineering group to establish drawing and format standards
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Utilize Onshape to produce technical documents that showcase our products including exploded views and assembly procedures
Skills and knowledge- Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360, OnShape, MS Office, and Google Docs
- Strong understanding of drafting, knowledge of standard dimensioning practices, and general drafting techniques. GD&T plus
- Excellent organization and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Minimum of two-year technical degree or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Autodesk Fusion 360: (Proficient)
- Drafting: 2 years (Preferred)
- Onshape: 1 year (Required)
- Document management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 years (Preferred)
