Supervisory Responsibilities:  None

Purpose:  Responsible for the professional documentation and support of the Engineering document, data, and electronic files control system.  Reviews and inputs change notices, change requests, proto requests, test requests, tooling part entry requests, supplier process change requests, and deviation requests to maintain prints, master parts lists, and other documentation used for purchasing, quality control, engineering, and manufacturing of product.  Responsible for the development and definition of systems that provide the engineering data and information.      

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.  Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
• Enters newly assigned job and project numbers into Epicor
• Processes customer controlled print updates
• Supports the maintenance of the Product Development Website
• Receives, documents, and processes Engineering requests for testing department and the prototype shop
• Processes change notices and master prints ensuring records are updated, maintained, and proper personnel and customers are notified
• Responsible for the integrity and clarity of intention for engineering data
• Registers all customer part numbers in cross-reference.  Updates all cross-references to include all castings, forgings, and distributes when appropriate
• Updates and maintains all master parts lists. Per individual email requests.
• Adds parts and all applicable into Epicor software for purchasing and accounting and acts as liaison to other business units
• Releases parts data and documentation to authorized departments and organizations
• Process preliminary prints, released prints and BOMs
• FTP/Electronic file transfers as requested. This includes creating 3D models to be sent at the request of Supplier Management Staff.
• Oversees the availability, quality, and integrity of Engineering prints
• Works in conjunction with ERP Functional Manager within the EDC responsibilities
• Contributes to continuous process improvement initiatives by pursuing, analyzing, and suggesting ideas for better workflow, systems, and information sharing
• Promote a positive atmosphere.  Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
• Receives, Validates, and routes Deviation Requests and Supplier Process Change requests. Process when routing is complete.

Minimum Requirements: 

    Education & Experience:

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or technical degree from two-year college or technical school; or
• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

 Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office Products, Epicor and Blue Print Reading in particular.  Knowledge of Winchill a plus
