Documentation Supervisor coordinates the production of functional, configuration, and user interface documentation for computer software and hardware products. Collaborates with technical teams to prepare accurate content. Being a Documentation Supervisor reviews edits and approves the final content. Ensures that standardized documentation methods and tools are deployed and that required document control procedures are employed. Additionally, Documentation Supervisor monitors project deliverables and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of release notes, manuals, and online content. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Documentation Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Program Integration SME providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI). The C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) focuses on providing enterprise support to over 110 active Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve installations and bases. The office also provides technical and policy support and provides C3I infrastructure for the USAF enterprise applications. AFLCMC/HNI is organized into 7 branches.
This position will support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) Wired & Wireless Program.
In this position you will need to posses the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field and possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Will demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices in their area of expertise. (Program Office, Enterprise and Staff Level Support interface).
Duties include, but not limited to:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret clearance
Education: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 10 years of which must be in the DoD OR
Experience in identifying acquisition strategy issues and proposing alternative solutions
Experience in assisting with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities
Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills
Possesses pertinent experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community
Possesses pertinent experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews
Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews
Experience initiating and managing high visibility programs
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
