Ensures that standardized documentation methods and tools are deployed and that required document control procedures are employed. Additionally, Documentation Supervisor monitors project deliverables and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of release notes, manuals, and online content. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Documentation Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Documentation Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Ross Mixing is a leading manufacturer of Processing/Mixing Equipment used by companies all over the world for the manufacturing of Paints, Inks, Chemicals, Foods, Batteries, Personal Care Products and Pharmaceuticals.
This position is responsible for creating, revising and maintaining the Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manuals, internal Price Sheets and other related documents associated with our products. The IO&M Manuals are for distribution to our customers and will include related Vendor Literature, Control System documents and Certification Documentation as required to match each order. This process will expose you to all aspects of the daily operations of the business including design, fabrication, assembly, administration plus the operation, application and use of our products. Additionally, there will be exposure to sales/marketing including product documentation, costing and pricing. Projects and training will be detailed in nature and require knowledge acquired from all areas of the business.
