Documentation Supervisor coordinates the production of functional, configuration, and user interface documentation for computer software and hardware products. Collaborates with technical teams to prepare accurate content. Being a Documentation Supervisor reviews edits and approves the final content. Ensures that standardized documentation methods and tools are deployed and that required document control procedures are employed. Additionally, Documentation Supervisor monitors project deliverables and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of release notes, manuals, and online content. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Documentation Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Documentation Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Main duties of the job

    Ensuring that cleaning duties and frequencies are carried out based on the 49 elements as specified by the National Specification for Cleanliness Standards (NSC).

    Ensuring that their areas, wards and departments are ready to be audited at any time.

    Participating in daily joint cleaning audits, ensuring all quality monitoring is conducted in line with Trust policy and ensuring rectification plans are completed in a timely manner.

    Participating in a 7 day week management rota as scheduled and approved by management.

    Understanding of Domestic Service Level Agreements between the Estates & Facilities Business unit, wards, departments and satellite buildings to ensure services are delivered accordingly and in a cost effective manner.

    Managing a diverse team and resolving any team related issues.

    Responsible in ensuring that all staff maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients, visitors and staff members.

    Participating and controlling all aspects of the Domestic Department's Service Level Agreements.

    Supporting the total domestic operational service delivery model by ensuring that works are carried out by domestic staffs to their job specifications.

    Monitoring quality services are being provided at all times whilst promoting good business relationships between Management and Staff and supporting the patient experience.

    Person Specification

    Qualification & Communication

    Essential

    • English and Maths GCSE's level 4 or equivalent level of education
    • Good communication and analytical skills. Able to work effectively within a team environment
    • Ability to deputize for domestic management at various meetings / Able to lead groups of people

    Desirable

    NVQ level 3 in cleaning or equivalent experience / Trained to British Institute of Cleaning Science

    Experience

    Essential

    • Minimum of 2 years cleaning experience
    • Intermediate numeracy, literacy, and IT skills ( handheld PDA).
    • Good understanding of Health and Safety issues and COSHH management
