Documentation Supervisor coordinates the production of functional, configuration, and user interface documentation for computer software and hardware products. Collaborates with technical teams to prepare accurate content. Being a Documentation Supervisor reviews edits and approves the final content. Ensures that standardized documentation methods and tools are deployed and that required document control procedures are employed. Additionally, Documentation Supervisor monitors project deliverables and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of release notes, manuals, and online content. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Documentation Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Documentation Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Position Objective
The Clinical Documentation /Utilization Review Quality Specialist is responsible for essential documentation improvement analysis under the direction of the Director of Quality & Risk Management and UR/CDI Physician Advisor. This position will work with CDI and Utilization Review Software programs and directly query physicians. The program goal is to assist Providers with Concurrent Documentation to obtain complete and accurate documentation in the Medical Record. For UR, this position reviews patient charts to ensure patients meet medical necessity for hospitalization and are admitted into the correct admission status.
