Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for enlisting and maintaining patients on research protocol regimes, determining the eligibility of patients for clinical trials, presenting trial concepts and details to patients, providing education for staff and patients, and ensuring proper treatment for and assuming responsibility for clinical documentation for patients on protocol.
