Donor Research Coordinator identifies potential donors and evaluates their interests and capacity to give to the organization. Conducts research and prospecting to locate individuals aligning with the organization's values and mission. Being a Donor Research Coordinator analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Donor Research Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Donor Research Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     JOB TITLE:

    Animal Research Compliance Coordinator

    JOB PURPOSE:

    Provide administrative support to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and coordinate compliance operations to UW's decentralized animal facilities.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Facilitate activities of the IACUC to include administration of the protocol review process and oversight of semi-annual program review.
    • Coordinate semi-annual facility inspections and assist with unannounced periodic site inspections.
    • Provide recordkeeping of monthly meetings and other IACUC functions.
    • Provide operational oversight to decentralized animal research facilities discussing best practices.
    • Facilitate generation of standard operating procedures.
    • Oversee compliance with regulatory agencies and standards through analysis of regulations.
    • Develop and deliver education on animal care and use program.
    • Establish a Post-Approval Monitoring (PAM) program to monitor animal care and use.
    • Generate animal care guidelines and departmental administrative policies and procedures through collaboration with the IACUC and division leadership.

    SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Serve as liaison between the IACUC, Research Division and UW animal researchers.
    • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
    • Participate in performance-related goal setting and achievement to meet personal and organizational goals and objectives.
    • Attend and participate in training and other personal professional development activities.

    REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

    This position is eligible for up to 60% remote work.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education: Bachelor's degree

    Experience: 1 year work-related experience

    Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements: Valid Driver's License

    Knowledge of:

    • Best practices on the use of animals (IACUC) in research.
    • Best practices in animal husbandry and biocontainment.
    • Organizational and planning skills.
    • Applicable federal, state and local rules and regulations.
    • Compliance committee administration.
    • Training and educational programming development and delivery.

    Skills and Abilities to:

    • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide range of individuals and constituencies.
    • Create, compose and edit basic, routine and complex written materials.
    • Formulate policy, develop and implement new strategies and procedures.
    • Investigate, analyze information, draw conclusions and make recommendations based on data or findings.

    • Develop and maintain basic, routine and advanced recordkeeping systems and procedures.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • M.S. or higher
    • 2 years animal research or care experience
    • Experience with large and small animals
    • Experience working with IACUC
    • Knowledge of animal biocontainment best practices
