Donor Research Coordinator identifies potential donors and evaluates their interests and capacity to give to the organization. Conducts research and prospecting to locate individuals aligning with the organization's values and mission. Being a Donor Research Coordinator analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Donor Research Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Donor Relations Coordinator supports all aspects of the Academy’s high profile, high-impact stewardship and recognition program. This role provides comprehensive administrative and operational support of the acknowledgement process including preparation and writing drafts of personalized gift acknowledgments and other communications on behalf of Academy leadership. The Coordinator also supports all aspects of the Donor Relations Department functions as needed.

The Donor Relations Coordinator must be highly organized and detail-oriented, have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, be proficient in data entry and common business productivity tools, excel in customer service, and possess the ability to take initiative and collaborate well with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in an educational setting. Experience with non-profit advancement databases and with the production of large mailings highly desired.
WORKING ENVIROMENT:
Occasional night and weekend work is required for events, and may also be required to serve our campus, alumni, and parent constituencies.
