Donor Research Coordinator identifies potential donors and evaluates their interests and capacity to give to the organization. Conducts research and prospecting to locate individuals aligning with the organization's values and mission. Being a Donor Research Coordinator analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Donor Research Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager.     We are currently seeking one full-time Training Coordinator to join our team in Cookeville, Tennessee . BTDS continues to grow at a rapid rate and this position has been created to help facilitate our expansion efforts.

    The Training Coordinator is responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating, and conducting BTDS training programs. Duties include assessing training needs, implementing training programs and evaluating them to determine their success in helping employees learn about the company or a particular skill. The Training Coordinator consults with managers and other trainers to identify specific training needs and map out skills-development plans for teams and individuals.

    Duties Include:

    • Conducting organization-wide training needs assessment and identifying skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
    • Scheduling and conducting regular meetings with management to proactively identify topics to be addressed or areas in need of additional instruction.
    • Spearheading the planning, creation and implementation of training courses and materials for each department.
    • Selecting appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes); researching up-to-date training methods and selecting best practices to facilitate training employees.
    • Marketing available training to employees and providing necessary information about sessions.
    • Informing employees of scheduled training and tracking their progress.
    • Gathering and evaluating information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
    • Gauging effectiveness of completed training courses and constantly seeking to improve; measuring employees’ information retention rates by issuing assessment tests and quizzes on course materials.
    • Maintaining updated curriculum database and training records.
    • Hosting train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts.
    • Attending required meetings and completes training for applicable duties, as assigned.
    • Assisting with other training-related tasks, as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Associate's or bachelor's degree, preferable in Human Resources or related field
    • At least one year of experience in training development/coordination
    • Solid computer skills
    • Valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation
    • Outstanding organizational & communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • At least two years of experience in training development/coordination
    • Basic understanding of medical terminology

    Job Type: Full-time Mon-Fri, typically around 8:30a-4:30p
