    We are seeking a Donor Stewardship Coordinator who supports all aspects of stewardship for a variety of clients, partner organizations, and administrators of our donation processing at our headquarters in Harrisburg.     Reporting directly to the Director of Donor Stewardship, the Donor Stewardship Coordinator will play a critical role on the stewardship team dedicated to supporting a growing and robust stewardship program that provides an exceptional philanthropic experience for donors at all levels. Primary responsibilities include processing contributions, assisting the development team with administrative support, and, when needed, supporting onsite office operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Administer gift caging process, which includes gift entry and acknowledgment procedures, making timely thank you calls, and sending customized donor correspondence, including at the executive level.
    • Provide regular reports to appropriate teams and clients about donor giving and gifts.
    • Update donor files with contact information and stewardship preferences, pass along correspondence to colleagues from donors with whom they have relationships, and respond and log interactions from donors who don’t have a relationship with a colleague.
    • Provide support for a variety of donor stewardship activities, including events, mailings, and giving clubs.
    • Assist Vice President of Development and Director of Donor Stewardship with calendaring and departmental scheduling.
    • Work closely with the office staff, providing backup support for on-site operational duties, including staff events, assisting with the safety and security of the building, and engaging with vendors.
    • Other duties, as assigned. 

    Qualifications

    • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
    • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are a must.
    • Proficient at working with donor or customer databases. (Experience with Salesforce desirable but not required).
    • Excellent time management, interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills.
    • Strong customer service mindset. Ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside vendors and donors.
    • Ability to work independently and as a productive team member in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel and Word

    Education and Experience

    • 1-3 years of experience working in an office environment, preferably a non-profit, with customer service or development experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
