As a Forensic Outreach Coordinator , you will serve as the main point of contact to Indiana's county coroners, deputy coroners, forensic pathologists, funeral directors, police officers, prosecutors, and fire fighters within the counties served by Indiana Donor Network.
The position provides key communications, education service activities and issue resolution designed to support the highest level of organ and / or tissue donation outcomes on donor cases that may be affected by the actions of these professions.
In addition, this position is responsible for the coordination of the Indiana Donor Network non-hospital death referral / donation program.
Some of the key result areas of this position include :
This position is tasked with covering the southern territory of the state of Indiana. The schedule for this position includes regional coverage Monday through Friday, approximately 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.
The team rotates statewide call coverage after 5 : 00 pm, approximately 1 / 3 of the time.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, business, mortuary services, criminal justice or health-related fields is required, as well as 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Must be able to demonstrate safe driving skills and must have and maintain a clean, insurable driving record.
