Donor Research Coordinator, Sr. identifies potential donors and evaluates their interests and capacity to give to the organization. Conducts research and prospecting to locate individuals aligning with the organization's values and mission. Being a Donor Research Coordinator, Sr. analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Donor Research Coordinator, Sr. maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Layton Aging & Alzheimer's Disease Center, in the Department of Neurology at OHSU, is an NIH/NIA-funded Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC). Layton Center investigative teams participate in national and international efforts to understand and develop treatments for Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Center activities include studies of promising treatments, technologies for patient support, genetics, neuroimaging and pathology.
The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies, including (but not limited to) the creation of promotional materials, building and maintaining web pages and generating written content to support the initiatives of the Layton Center. They will communicate with internal and external stakeholders – sharing information both within OHSU and with the public, facilitating recruitment for research studies and elevating the profile of the Layton center.
This work requires the use of independent judgement, problem solving skills, project and time management. Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills are essential. This position also requires the ability to complete complex and detail-oriented duties while working closely with investigators and staff.
