Job Opening – Engineering Drafter with Pioneer Cladding & Glazing Systems in Baltimore, MD

As the Engineering Drafter with Pioneer, you will review architectural and structural drawings, interpret project scope documents, and apply basic engineering, math, and architectural principles to generate shop and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD software. You will assist in the design of building envelopes, fenestration, and other interior and exterior architectural elements including but not limited to unitized curtain walls, entrances, punched windows, coping, and interior partitions. You will also review and redline drawings, revise redlined drawings, and support production control and shop personnel during the manufacturing of designed assemblies and components.

The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You must also have:

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Design and/or Drafting (or related field) and 3 years' drafting experience OR a minimum of 5 years' drafting experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience with Inventor is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, construction specifications and bid documents
• Ability to perform moderately complex calculations using basic math and trigonometry
• Excellent interpersonal skills and have successfully worked in a fast-paced environment
• Curtainwall experience is preferred.
