We are seeking a full-time and permanent CAD draftsperson with a preference in A/V and lighting experience, who is energetic, self-motivated and a qualified individual working in a team environment to prepare clear, complete and accurate designs and drawings for multiple projects.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Preferred experience with Integrated systems for A/V, Lighting Control, Shades and Climate Control or like.
• Work with Architectural backgrounds
• Drawing elevations as needed
• Placing AV/Security symbols on floor plans & RCP plans
• Updating plans according to mark-ups/redlines and customer input
• Coordinate with Architects, Interior Designers, MEP Engineers & Lighting Designers
• Review and manage architectural, electrical & HVAC plans with CAD staff.
• Performs drafting operations for the determination of project plans in addition to collecting and archiving data for project designs
• Interpret lighting design documentation
• Create wiring diagrams, rack elevations & dimensional drawings
• Produce lighting system panel reports
• Research product & technical support from equipment manufacturers
• Interfacing with and supporting Field Technicians, Engineering and Project management
• Assist in creating As-Built Plans

Qualifications required:

• Degree Preferred but not required, 3 years experience as a Drafter
• Preferred knowledge of high-end audio/video, lighting control, shades and climate control
• Experience with Visio, AutoCAD or other design tools
• Comprehension of architectural & construction terms
