This is a remote/ rotational position, working two weeks on and two weeks off or three weeks on and three weeks off, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Electrical, Instrumentation, and Fire & Gas Drafter with additional responsibilities in document control. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and documentation of electrical, instrumentation, and fire & gas systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective communication. This position also involves managing and organizing project-related documents to support efficient workflows and collaboration.
The position is located on the North Slope and requires a rotational work schedule. Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided; however, transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Room and meals are provided while in Prudhoe Bay.
Essential Job Functions:
Drafting and Design:
· Create detailed drawings, schematics, and diagrams for electrical, instrumentation, and fire & gas systems based on the direction of a discipline engineer or designer.
· Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure accurate representation of design concepts.
· Taking “redlines” and making appropriate changes.
Instrumentation and Control:
· Develop drawings and documentation for instrumentation and control systems, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument data sheets based on the direction of a discipline engineer or designer.
Electrical Systems:
· Generate electrical drawings, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams in accordance with industry standards and project guidelines based on the direction of a discipline engineer or designer.
Fire & Gas Systems:
· Produce drawings and documentation for fire detection and gas monitoring systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations based on the direction of a discipline engineer or designer.
Document Control:
· Establish and maintain an organized document control system to manage project-related documents, including drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
· Track revisions, maintain version control, and ensure that the latest documents are accessible to relevant team members.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Proficiency in AutoCAD software, with experience in drafting for electrical and instrumentation systems.
· Knowledge of fire & gas system design and documentation practices.
· Familiarity with document control processes and software.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and document management.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.

· North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in the oil and gas industry.
