Triumph Engineering & Design, Inc. (TED) is currently searching for a talented CAD operator for Civil, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and/or Architecture. TED is an established and dynamically growing engineering firm looking to add a creative and resourceful individual to its team. The job opening is a full time, permanent position at our office located in Grand Blanc, MI.

Commercial design, senior assisted living, residential, adaptive re-use, and industrial experience is a plus. Candidates must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD. Knowledge of structure and building construction is also required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Construction Documents – drawings, specifications, calculations, and other specific details related to the project. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, REVIT a plus.
• Create conceptual diagrams, renderings, research presentations, development plans, building floor plans, etc.
• Ability to work efficiently in conjunction with established timetables.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, altering priorities when required.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and coordinate with other necessary design disciplines.
• Communication/presentation skills; able to articulate and present design concepts.
• Job site visits and meet with clients when necessary. Must be able to climb ladder and carry 30 lbs. of tools.
• Ability to adapt to technological developments such as new codes, new design concepts, computer applications, drafting methods, etc.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel for preparing reports, documents, and calculations.
