Northeast Consulting Services (partner to Northeast Precast) has an immediate opening for a full-time Survey CAD Drafter! Are you excited about surveying and excited about CAD? If yes, this is the position for you!You will provide drafting and construction stake-out support for various site development projects from the conceptual phase through construction documents.Benefits You’ll be receiving:

Job Responsibilities:- Develop complete sets of asbuilt plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D including site geometry, utility, erosion and sediment control, grading/drainage plans, and details by client and industry design standards.
- Analyze surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints and the best approach to developing and completing projects on time and budget.
- Perform asbuilt calculations for slopes, sewer design, hydraulic systems, detention ponds, etc.
- Able to produce asbuilt surveys, boundary surveys, minor subdivisions, etc.
- Collaborate with project managers and design staff to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions.
- Able to do construction stake-out calculations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Here’s what we are looking for in a Survey CAD Drafter:- High proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Civil 3D.
- Proficiency in managing data storage.
- Ability to work in-office, M-F 8 AM to 5 PM.
