Drafting Supervisor jobs in Buffalo, NY
Drafting Supervisor supervises a team within an organization's computer-aided design (CAD) department. Plans, assigns, and reviews the work of drafters and other employees working on design projects. Being a Drafting Supervisor ensures deadlines, goals, and production standards for the department are met. Analyzes data and reviews drawings/plans to ensure quality of work and project feasibility. Additionally, Drafting Supervisor reviews project results and makes recommendations for improvement. Provides CAD technical support and develops solutions. Uses knowledge of the field to keep the department's software, techniques, and tools up to date. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Drafting Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Drafting Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. Responsibilities

*Opening and closing the store to standard *Deployment of employees working your shifts *Motivate staff keeping them on task and assisting when needed *Ensuring daily tasks are completed *Cash management *Customer relations, including addressing any issues that arise *Modeling professionalism and friendliness at all times, holding yourself and other employees to the standard set by the management team
Qualifications-
*Experience working as a supervisor *Strong communication skills with the ability to listen effectively *Ability to train and lead a team to success *Outstanding organizational skills

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.70 - $16.80/hour.
