Drafting Supervisor supervises a team within an organization's computer-aided design (CAD) department. Plans, assigns, and reviews the work of drafters and other employees working on design projects. Being a Drafting Supervisor ensures deadlines, goals, and production standards for the department are met. Analyzes data and reviews drawings/plans to ensure quality of work and project feasibility. Additionally, Drafting Supervisor reviews project results and makes recommendations for improvement. Provides CAD technical support and develops solutions. Uses knowledge of the field to keep the department's software, techniques, and tools up to date. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Drafting Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Drafting Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated, service-oriented, dynamic, and experienced Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our Team in our Anaheim office.
In this role, you will...
- Perform general warehouse duties to include, shipping, receiving and deliveries.
- Complete daily deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
- Maintain a clean company vehicle.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedule for company delivery vehicles.
- Inform management of any repairs needed to company vehicles
- Complete daily delivery manifest accurately
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional demeanor.
- Maintain and organize appropriate warehouse and delivery records in our computer database.
- Cycle-count inventory
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse area.
- Operate forklift and other equipment.
- Bring back signed paperwork’s to hand in to CSRs.
- Report to work from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- General branch administration and other duties as assigned
About you...
We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual able to work within a team environment and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will possess:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience driving a cube truck.
- 1 year minimum experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving and delivery duties.
- Current forklift certification.
- Excellent interpersonal communications.
- Forward-thinking and organized with ability to take initiative around the site.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately in a fast paced environment
- Proven experience in managing Cycle-count inventory.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer information systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Solid customer service experience both internally and externally.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Problem solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Time management skills.
- Knowledge of SAP would be a key asset.
