Drilling Engineer jobs in Lima, OH
Drilling Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of oil and gas wells. Performs design evaluations and recommends alterations to improve safety, costs, and efficiency. Being a Drilling Engineer may conduct risk assessment and cost estimation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Drilling Engineer is familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. - Identify problems and develop solutions that lead to large scale process improvements
- Establish overall process improvement priorities
- Perform time studies as required for production rate improvements
- Design and support implementation of tooling and fixture improvements
