Drilling Engineer jobs in Norwalk, CA

Looking for a Concrete Coring / Saw Cutting Operator to work in the field in Southern California, travel throughout California 20%.

This is NOT a truck driving state to state position.

Starting at 23.00/ per hour (negotiable upon experience), commercial license preferred, and a lot of potential to grow in this industry

Job Requirement & Expectations:

• Applicant will be primarily responsible for concrete and asphalt cutting/sawing when needed
• Solid experience with Walk Behind Saws, and Core Drilling
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cutting equipment to ensure operates safely and efficiently
• Physical Labor in the field
• 40 work hours common (on occasion candidate might have to work weekends or nights)
• Job requires out of town work on occasion
• Be prepared for immediate criminal background check for oil refineries and military sites
• Environmental drilling experience preferred
• Class A or B preferred (Commercial License)
• Clean Driving Record mandatory
• OSHA 40 hr Hazwoper trained preferred
• Candidate must pass physical and drug test
• No Felony convictions
• No drugs
• Reliable transportation

Clean background record is a must as we have work on military bases and refineries. A positive, can-do attitude, and good communications skills are a plus.

Job Description: Rapidly Growing Environmental Drilling firm looking for Highly Motivated, Reliable Professional's to add to our Signal Hill office. We are currently looking to add smart dependable people to help us handle a deep backlog of local projects. Out of town work is also required from time to time (Per Diem Provided). We are an EOE and run a Drug free company. A lot of the work we do requires Federal and State Security Clearance's that will require background checks for any criminal convictions , a clean background check will be required for consideration.
