SUMMARY

Partner is seeking a full-time field specialist / technician to support the Integrated Facilities Solutions team in our Southern California offices (Torrance, Irvine, Corona, Pasadena or San Diego)

The ideal candidate will be trained to perform the following:
• Onsite Liaison
• Balcony Inspection and Drilling

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete and finalize specific project tasks according to deadlines and within budget
• Communication with subject site representatives
• Data compilation and organization
• Ability to regularly travel by car or flight to job sites throughout the region for single day or multiple day trips
• Conducting site reconnaissance, including sampling activities, if necessary
• Effectively communicate project progress and issues with the Project Manager
• Maintain communication with team members throughout the course of the project
• Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager associated with report deliverable schedule and plan
• Identify and resolve issues with projects

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Excellent communication skills (internal and external)
• Self-starter – able to, with minimal direction, determine steps needed to complete field tasks
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
• Proven ability to deliver a quality product on time
• Satisfactory writing skills
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous field technician experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and earn appropriate certifications.       
• The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Able to travel local to regionally 90% of the time.        

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to read, write, speak & comprehend English
• Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the phone
• Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
• Requires frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout the work shift.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. of equipment and carry to job site

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $20 to $28/hr
