Drilling Operations Director directs and oversees the drilling, production, and engineering operations for an organization. Oversees all aspects of planning and executing drilling projects, developing oil and gas fields, and analyzing reserves. Being a Drilling Operations Director is responsible for directing revisions or enhancements to troubleshoot and solve drilling problems. May coordinate drilling contractors and production managers/superintendents. Additionally, Drilling Operations Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The Drilling Operations Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Drilling Operations Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Is well versed in all aspects of Facilities Management, with a proven track record of success
    Possesses strong strategic thinking skills, with an emphasis on delivering and measuring action plans
    Is proactive and positive; interacts professionally with a diverse group of associates, peers, managers, suppliers, clients and customers
    Embraces excellence in customer service both for internal and external customers; has excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
    Demonstrates initiative and good judgment in assisting customers, clients, peers and subordinates.
    Has the ability to think quickly and accurately, be able to evaluate problems and make appropriate recommendations to person(s) involved
    Has a high level of resilience during stressful periods and the ability to handle last minute changes.
    Manages all accounts within a region to ensure compliance with government and agency standards and to ensure profitability of the region
    Handles and ensures compliance with the Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and other regulatory business appointments
    Attends committee meetings to understand the needs of the client
    Ensures consistent and fair administration of personnel policies
    Manages planning, budget analysis and reporting for the Region and/or District

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering highly preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred
    Ten years of Multi Unit experience in Facilities Management in an acute care hospital, required
    Experience in P&L management
    Should have proficiency in CMMS Systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
    Certified Health Care Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred
    Possess a strong knowledge and understanding of healthcare building mechanical, structural, and electrical systems
    Must have knowledge and expertise in NFPA, TJC, CMS, DNV, EPA, and OSHA codes and regulations and the ability to interpret and implement
    Contract-managed service experience, preferred
    Strong leadership and communication skills
    Demonstrates initiative, ownership, multi-tasking, prioritization and organizational skills
    Extensive travel required for this position (on the road about 90% of the time)
    Ideal candidate will reside in the Midwest United States or be willing to relocate to the Midwest (ideal location would be Chicago, IL)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
