Hospital Access Representative

Location : Westbrook, CT

Hours : Part-Time / 30 hours - 2nd Shift (This is a benefits eligible position including shift differentials)

Shift Details : 3p-11 : 30p with rotating weekends and holidays

Position Summary :

Responsible for various patient -related access duties which include registering and processing patients to ensure Department and Hospital access and financial goals are achieved.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Excellent communication skills (telephone, written, and inter-personal)
• Flexibility of hours necessary to ensure department scheduling are met
• Professional appearance
• One year experience in a hospital or medical office including insurance and medical terminology.
