Mission:
Quantum is currently seeking an Information Systems Specialist to provide the US Space Force (USSF) Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) support related to its mission to plan, task, integrate, provide Command and Control (C2), and support integrated Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR). C2 is conducted day-to-day, through reachback capabilities and deployable subject matter experts, in support of US Combatant Commanders (CCDRs). Assistance is provided via the JNWC NAVWAR support cell, coordination cells, and deployable theater coordination cells.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Help Desk Support including administrative touch-maintenance duties, managing division workload, and prioritizing help desk tasks.
- Monitoring IT Help Desk ticketing systems and providing a tier-based support within required response timelines (Tiers 1-4).
- Provide 24/7/365 support as directed for specific systems or organizations.
- Provide classroom support including access/accounts, network classification, and audio/visual requirements.
- Support COOP by performing IT equipment setup, communications capabilities and establishing user accounts within required timelines.
- Provide VTC and Telecon support, including scheduling support and coordinating with conference room scheduler; coordinating with network gateways; performing calendar management; coordinate deconfliction of venue scheduling conflicts.
- Provide off-shift VTC or desktop support as directed for exercise and real-world events.
- Support system administrator tasks and ancillary support tasks as needed and directed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in STEM or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of general experience integrating equipment and software for operational, testing, or demonstration purposes and with analyzing systems and technologies related to one or more of the task order designated disciplines.
- Certified at IAT Level III.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
Desired Qualification:
- 8 years of general experience integrating equipment and software for operational, testing, or demonstration purposes and with analyzing systems and technologies related to one or more of the task order designated disciplines.
- IAT Level II baseline certification.
- Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
- PHD in a related field may be substituted for an additional 2 years of experience.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
