    POSITION SUMMARY:You will be a crucial member of our team where you'll analyze supply chain trends, evaluate ingredient costs, and recommend innovative processes and product access strategies. You will stay at the forefront of pharmaceutical market trends, ensuring that our sourcing of drug products, including limited distribution ones, is nothing short of exceptional.     • You will collaborate with Clearway Health and our health system partners to address pharmaceutical sourcing and limited distribution drug access.
    • You will coordinate Clearway Health's committees and teams that are responsible for drug pipeline evaluations and forecasts, and facilitate the dissemination of information and updates companywide.
    • Monitoring medication purchasing and distribution to ensure alignment with market share goals and business objectives is a priority for you.
    • Ensuring compliance with health system contracts, you address unfavorable variances and resolve issues with end users.
    • You build strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, and suppliers while analyzing market trends.
    • Developing analytics, tools, and metrics for value analysis, RFP documents, and discussions is critical to your success.
    • You formulate recommendations to enhance drug access and pricing, identifying cost reduction initiatives.
    • Managing category projects, involving stakeholders and suppliers, from discovery to contract finalization is one of your top priorities.
    • You attend meetings to assess needs, communicate project progress, and build relationships with health system personnel.
    • It is important to you to maintain in-depth knowledge of specialty pharmaceuticals, product/service needs, and industry developments, sharing best practices with peers.
    EDUCATION:
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or a related field is required. A Master's degree in Business Administration is desired.
    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
    • A Pharmacy Technician license is preferred.
    EXPERIENCE:
    • 5 years of experience in sales, purchasing, contracting, or business office roles within healthcare organizations, pharmaceutical manufacturing, distribution, or pharmacy is required.
    • 2 years of health system pharmacy purchasing experience, negotiating drug pricing working with distribution terms with pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, and suppliers is required.
    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on negotiation.
    • Advanced expertise in strategic sourcing processes and methodologies.
    • Demonstrated understanding of contract structures, terms, conditions, and risk mitigation, with experience in executing/drafting business requirements and key performance indicators.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks, delivering specific outcomes within tight deadlines and amid competing priorities.
    Special Working Conditions (On-call, travel, shift, coverage):
    • This position requires domestic travel up to 20%.
