Drywall Installer plans, installs, and repairs drywalls to cover walls, ceilings, soffits, shafts, and movable partitions in residential and commercial areas. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Drywall Installer may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Drywall Installer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     The Day to Day:
    The duties and responsibilities of a Drywaller/painter are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project.
    The list of duties and responsibilities for a drywaller/painter on any given day are varied but include the following: 
    ·        Mindset focused on Customer Service and Satisfaction
    ·        Emergency service rotation (overtime hours could be involved)
    ·        Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
    ·        Loading and unloading materials and equipment
    ·        Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
    ·        Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties
    ·        Operate all tools of the trade.
    ·        Able to complete all level of finishes.
    About You:
    ·        Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
    ·        Willing to learn and grow.
    ·        Motivated mindset    
    ·        Work hours are generally 7AM-3:30PM (discretionary based on project demands)        
    ·        Ability to lift 50 plus lbs.
    ·        Able to pass a background check.
    ·        10 yrs. experience in construction
    ·        5 yrs. as a professional drywaller and painter
