Drywall Installer plans, installs, and repairs drywalls to cover walls, ceilings, soffits, shafts, and movable partitions in residential and commercial areas. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Drywall Installer may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Drywall Installer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. About the Project:
We're looking for a reliable and experienced Drywall Installer to install drywall in our small garage. This is a relatively small project, perfect for a handyman or small crew.
Responsibilities:
- Install drywall sheets on walls and the ceiling.
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels to ensure a seamless finish.
- Properly secure drywall sheets to studs or metal framing.
- Tape and finish drywall joints according to industry standards.
- Clean up the work area thoroughly upon completion.
Qualifications:
- Experience with drywall installation, including hanging, taping, and finishing.
- Proficient in using drywall tools such as saws, drills, screw guns, and taping knives.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve a smooth, professional finish.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Pleasant and professional demeanor.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 per hour
