Drywall Installer plans, installs, and repairs drywalls to cover walls, ceilings, soffits, shafts, and movable partitions in residential and commercial areas. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Drywall Installer may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Drywall Installer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     Job Duties & Responsibilities
    • Installation of woodworking finished goods at construction jobsites.
    • Finished goods to include but not limited to:
      • Casework/Cabinetry
      • Countertops (plastic laminate, wood, or solid surface)
      • Mouldings (running trim)
      • Wall paneling
      • Custom items (desks, display cases, benches, banquettes, etc.)
    • Attention to detail is required
    Education
    • High School diploma, GED, or higher is required
    • Relevant experience can be considered as an equivalent to a degree
    Experience
    • One or more years’ experience within the woodworking, manufacturing, or construction industry is preferred
    • One or more years' experience in Finish Carpentry is preferred
