Widdis Drywall is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Specializing in drywall restoration for insurance claims, we partner primarily with fire and water damage mitigation businesses, providing top-tier service and unparalleled craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our customer base within the fire and water damage mitigation industry.
- Foster and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to create a consistent frequency of work and maximize profits.
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and problem-solving any issues that arise.
- Attend industry functions, such as association or networking events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role in the construction or restoration industry.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Strong proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office and CRM/project planning software.
- Ability to travel within the Greater Seattle area as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or commensurate experience in this role or similar
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in customer relationship management.
- Experience with bid preparation and submission.
Compensation:
- Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
- Flexible PTO
- Commission/Bonus: Competitive commission structure based on performance. Anticipated to be $15,000 to $35,000 annually.
