Develops and manages organizational changes needed to meet goals involving e-business strategies. Being an E-Business Development Manager identifies potential business partners and negotiates agreements. May coordinate and negotiate with various departments including product development, marketing and/or sales group. Additionally, E-Business Development Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a top management. The E-Business Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an E-Business Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Essential Functions

    • A secondary role of a BDE is to increase the sales effectiveness of our Partners and Managers by keeping them focused on the next steps of the sales process.
    Requirements
    • ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED. RELOCATION IS NOT AVAILABLE.
    • Must be proficient in lead generation – social media, referrals and networking, proposal development, and other proven lead generation methods
    • Strong conceptual selling skills combined with a demonstrated success in selling professional services to businesses (10 years of experience) and excellent knowledge of your geographical market.
    • Ability to connect and interact with a wide range of personality types.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Organized/detail-oriented.
    • Positive attitude/high energy level.
    • Maintain professional composure in a challenging role.
    • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
    • Flexibility to attend marketing events on nights/weekends when needed.
