E-Business Development Manager maintains and plans an organization's overall policies and goals regarding e-business development. Develops and manages organizational changes needed to meet goals involving e-business strategies. Being an E-Business Development Manager identifies potential business partners and negotiates agreements. May coordinate and negotiate with various departments including product development, marketing and/or sales group. Additionally, E-Business Development Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a top management. The E-Business Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an E-Business Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities

    • Identify potential customers through research and networking activities, then contacting them to set up meetings.
    • Present qualified leads to the Management Team on a regular basis.
    • Be the advocate for the customer to build strong relationships with senior industry leaders.
    • Attend customer meetings (some travel required).
    • Follow our unique Request for Quotation (RFQ) process to get qualified RFQs, provide your contacts with timely quotations, and convert your work into viable long-term business sales.
    • Provide support to operations team as required.
    • Follow the company Code of Conduct at all times.
    • Undertake confidentiality agreement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, or related field of business management.
    • 2 years of experience within business development and/or sales leadership.
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings including background checks.
    • Ideal candidates are personable, persuasive, and know how to sell products and services to executives at large manufacturers.

    Additional Requirements/Skills/Knowledge

    • Strong written and interview skills, including phone and follow-up skills.
    • Very efficient with ability to complete assigned tasks and deliverables by end of day.
    • Organizational, notes taking, retention and summation skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
    • Work through and adapt to competing time sensitive priorities.
    • Ambitious and provides exemplary personable interaction with all.
    • Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
    • Good ability to troubleshoot general office equipment.
    • Previous operational experience using an ERP system preferred.
