Our Business Development Managers lead development of new business to leverage the breadth of services offered by our manufacturing companies including cable/wiring harness assemblies, PCBA manufacturing, Level 1 to Level 5 box integration as well as forward and reverse logistics. In this role, you will leverage your extensive industry relationships to cultivate customer relationships, develop and deliver effective proposals, and negotiate and win contracts to capture profitable new business opportunities. You will manage your assigned territory and work closely with General and Business Managers to develop growth plans and target companies primarily in the North Eastern United States who would benefit from the manufacturing expertise offered. You will travel by vehicle and airplane up to 60% of the time (including both day and overnight trips) to meet with customers and potential customers.
To be competitive for the position you will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of four years successful sales experience along with long-standing accounts or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You will also possess excellent presentation skills, a high level of professionalism, proven negotiation and closing skills, motivation for sales, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ability to learn and competently use the company's ERP system, a current, valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. This onsite position is located in Virginia.
