Develops and manages organizational changes needed to meet goals involving e-business strategies. Being an E-Business Development Manager identifies potential business partners and negotiates agreements. May coordinate and negotiate with various departments including product development, marketing and/or sales group. Additionally, E-Business Development Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a top management. The E-Business Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Position Description
The Professional Business Development Group (PBDG) is seeking a knowledgeable and culturally sensitive Small Business Advisor and Trainer with a background in entrepreneurship or small business ownership. The role involves providing guidance, support, and training to small construction and service businesses in Oregon to enhance their operations and foster growth. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of construction and service industry practices, business management principles, and effective training methods. They should also be comfortable working with diverse populations and reaching out to small business owners. Responsibilities include offering one-on-one technical assistance, mentorship, and consulting services, as well as facilitating workshops and trainings for small groups of entrepreneurs. The position offers flexibility in managing one's schedule according to client availability and involves engagement with community partners and program development activities.
The position reports to the Executive Director.
