E-Business Development Manager maintains and plans an organization's overall policies and goals regarding e-business development. Develops and manages organizational changes needed to meet goals involving e-business strategies. Being an E-Business Development Manager identifies potential business partners and negotiates agreements. May coordinate and negotiate with various departments including product development, marketing and/or sales group. Additionally, E-Business Development Manager requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a top management. The E-Business Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an E-Business Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying and securing new project opportunities. This individual will be responsible for cultivating relationships with potential clients, understanding their project needs, and designing and presenting tailored solutions that align with our company’s capabilities and expertise across North and South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be well connected in the industry and have a mechanical engineering background.

    What You’ll Do:

    Client Relationship Management

    o Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at target companies.

    o Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients to understand their project requirements and objectives.

    Bid Schedule

    o Maintain and provide pre-qualification packages to clients as needed.

    o Collaborate with Estimating department to oversee workload and strategy.

    o Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for accurate scopes of work and materials.

    o Facilitate bid presentation and review meetings with clients.

    Business Development

    o Implement a comprehensive business development plan and coordinate your own sales schedule to best meet goals and expectations for the company.

    o Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and market insights.

    o Coordinate with operations for upcoming work.

    o Propose prefabricated modules in sales pitches for more efficient use of resources in shop.

    o Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential leads.

    o Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective projects through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation methods.

    What You’ll Bring:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.

    · Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

    · Experience in equipment sales or design is encouraged.

    · Previous experience in construction or estimating is preferred.

    · Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

    · Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.

    · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.

    · Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
