Join HALO Breast Care Center as a full time Referrals and Authorizations Coordinator with a Monday-Friday and 8am - 5pm schedule, located at our outpatient imaging center in Chico. Our ideal candidate is bilingual with at least 1 year of recent medical office experience coordinating with a team of medical professionals. The Referrals and Authorizations Coordinator reviews and verifies all incoming orders from referring offices. This position is the key in verifying all patient information is correct.

Responsibilities:

• Review all incoming orders from faxes and work queues.
• Verifies that all orders are complete.
• Verify insurance eligibility and expected share of cost.
• Process any and all authorizations needed for exams.
• Confirm/Request all priors and pathology.
• Sends all verified exams to scheduling.
