Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Perform office functions under the direction of the Administrator in accordance with State, Federal and Company policies, procedures and sound accounting practices; demonstrate knowledge and skills in filing systems, telephone techniques, typing reports and other correspondence; effective verbal and written English communication skills; above average typing and basic understanding of computer technology; must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families and to work cooperatively with others; maintain regular attendance; must meet all local health regulations and submit to and meet drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry criteria; must be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous long term care experience preferred.
Certificate/Licenses: Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Must possess the ability with work independently.
2. Interact/communicate with residents and
staff in a courteous and professional manner.
3. Follow facility policies and procedures and act in a safe, professional, positive manner.
4. Utilize cost effective measures effectively.
5. Send daily documentation to apprioate departments to coordinate payroll and attendance.
6. Support HR with onboarding.
7. Maintain competency and is tested to be competent in appropriate educations.
8. Control, approve and track all PTO as necessary.
9. Participate in Quality Assurance programs, any facility commit or programs, which seeks to improve the performance and accuracy of the organization.
10. Create and post monthly staff schedules, track and post changes and approve trades in the absence of the DON or as delegated by the DON.
11. Post and fill open shifts.
12. Maintain timely record of call-offs, tradys, and early arrivals and coordinate daily with HR.
13. Monitor daily PPD.
14. Notify HR of any write ups and/or terminations.
15. Monitor and minimize staff overtime.
16. Coordinate with HR to schedule job
candidate orientation.
17. Notify HR of any status changes.
18. Work within the facility budget for staffing.
19. Keep a clean and professional office appearance.
20. Monitor agency use to ensure department expenditures are at or below budgeted level.
