EAP Coordinator assists in the maintenance of a company's Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Acts as primary contact for off-site treatment centers. Being an EAP Coordinator recommends changes to programs to meet employee care goals. May provide counseling to employees in the program. Additionally, EAP Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The EAP Coordinator work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Behavioral Health Care company headquartered in Houston, TX (Westchase District) is seeking an individual for an entry-level Customer Service Intake Coordinator position in our Care Management department. Bilingual preferred.(This is NOT a remote position.)
Position: Intake Coordinator Customer Service (FT).
Qualifications:- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have one or more year(s) of experience working in a customer service call center, preferably in the behavioral health or medical field.
- Must have very strong customer service experience, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong typing and multi-tasking abilities.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Bilingual preferred.
Responsibilities:- Telephonic intake and referral for counseling, legal, financial, employee assistance program (EAP) services and work-life/wellness services.
- Other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Adherence to established attendance policy is essential.
Job Type:- This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.
Schedule:- Monday through Friday, 9:00 am- 6:00 p.m.
Benefits include:- Health insurance, 401-K, paid vacation, holidays, and paid personal time.
Starting salary is:- $15 an hour.
Work Location:- Houston, TX 77042.
