Albion College invites applications for the Counselor position. The Counselor is a member of the Albion College Office of Integrated Wellness staff, Student Development staff and the Office of Counseling Services and reports directly to the Director of Mental Health. The Counselor is responsible for administering a comprehensive student development program within a residential campus consistent with the philosophies and goals of Albion College, the Division of Student Development, and the Office of Counseling Services. The Counselor is responsible for programing, including crisis management, triage, direct services, group sessions, case management and conferencing, consultation with peer education programs, and providing services and programs that meet the needs of Albion College students. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. Albion College is an anti-racist institution. State of Michigan licensure (or licensure eligibility) in good standing required
Experience working in a college counseling setting preferred
