You will have the opportunity to make real life-changing differences to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis within our community and surrounding counties.
Qualified applicants must be quick-thinking and able to remain calm under pressure, providing crisis assessment, intervention and stabilization services to all age populations in the community as well as over the telephone. Extensive training is provided.
The successful candidate will:
- Have the ability to communicate effectively to build rapport with individuals seeking services.
- Able to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Effectively coordinate services needed by individuals seeking services.
A bachelor’s degree in a human services field (e.g. Psychology, Sociology, Social Work etc..) is required, at a minimum. LPC or MSW preferred. Due to the mobility of the program, successful candidates must also have a valid driver’s license. Agency vehicles are provided.
