EAP Counselor jobs in Waco, TX

Licensed Caseworkers for the CTC work with the crisis team to maintain a therapeutic environment for clients under 24-hour care. Duties include performing crisis and substance abuse counseling, developing plans for treatment and discharge, and providing individual and group therapy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent written communication and computer keyboarding for inputting clinical documentation

• Excellent verbal communication with clients, staff, and community providers

• Time management required to meet service goals

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods

• Ability to be CPR and SAMA certified

• Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required

Education and Experience

• Master's in social work, psychology or related field with ability to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional credentialing

• License LPC, LCSW, LMFT or LPC-I, LMSW Preferred

• Experience providing crisis services per DSHS standards preferred

Hours: 8AM-8PM Alternating 12 hour shifts:

Salary:
Licensed: $60,000-$65,000
Under Supervision: $52,566-$57,822:
