Responsible for managing compliance audit examinations of various regulations to independently and objectively identify and assess risks, evaluate adherence to controls and compliance with established policies, procedures and regulations, making recommendations for improvement. This includes administrative responsibilities, such as staffing schedule, project budgets and overall execution of the audits in a timely manner. Perform quality audit work in accordance with Audit Instruction Manual (AIM) requirements. Conduct audits per annual audit plan, review control design, perform audit testing and document results, identify audit issues, and prepare initial draft audit issues for review and approval by Lead Auditor. Ensure audit reports accurately reflect audit findings documented in the audit workpapers. Ensure related risks, conclusions, root causes and Management Action Plans are reasonable and aligned. Periodically validate and follow up on audit issues, verify that audit issues are remediated according to Management Action Plans in audit reports, and root cause of audit issues are fully addressed for closure.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, Pay range: $137,114 to $160,200 per year.
