EDP Audit Manager manages the auditing of data processing systems and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Audit Manager develops organizational audit programs to continuously maintain the effectiveness of data processing operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Audit Manager typically reports to top management. The EDP Audit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     The Uniform Guidance (UG) COE provides a career opportunity within our Trust Solutions practice to virtually lead and standardize compliance based audits required by granting agencies of the federal government from scoping through completion. The COE directly supports engagement teams, performing specifically identified audit areas across a portfolio of clients. In the COE you will focus on areas of the audit requiring subject matter insight and expertise.

    Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or proven record of success in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, emphasizing an in-depth, extensive understanding - for the respective industry - of the applicable business and accounting issues, and technical accounting and financial reporting standards.

    Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or proven record of success as a team leader and team member within the US Assurance practice of a global network of professional services consulting firms, including, but not limited to, the following areas:

    Whole Leadership: pursuing opportunities to develop existing and new skills, which are outside of my comfort zone; maintaining positive energy in the face of obstacles or when dealing with complexity; and, acting to resolve issues, which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty;
