EDP Audit Manager manages the auditing of data processing systems and operating procedures in accordance with established corporate standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Determines and recommends improvements in current standards and the implementation of system changes. Being an EDP Audit Manager develops organizational audit programs to continuously maintain the effectiveness of data processing operations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, EDP Audit Manager typically reports to top management. The EDP Audit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Qualifications

    • Bachelors, Post Baccalaureate, or Master's degree in Accounting from an accredited University
    • CPA license preferred
    • 4 years of public accounting experience (or equivalent)
    • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software programs, with a particular focus on Word and Excel
    • Experience with CCH Axcess and CaseWare softwares, preferred
    • Proven experience leading teams

    Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

    • Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations
    • Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments, and technical authorities and apply them to moderately complex situations
    • Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude and by maintaining the confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and related work product
    • Look for opportunities to provide additional services to clients
    • Develop relationships with client's staff and management

    Benefits

    Salary is commensurate with experience.

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
