Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Night Auditor. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This position offers an opportunity to work in the hospitality industry and provide exceptional guest services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform night audit procedures to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and guest accounts
- Verify and balance daily revenue, including room charges, food and beverage sales, and other miscellaneous charges
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management and relevant departments
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes as needed
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by monitoring the premises during overnight hours
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in front desk or hotel operations is preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is a plus
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English; multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is an asset
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
